Whether you’re headed to the beach on a sunny or cloudy day, in my opinion, you should always feel comfortable and confident. Sometimes I don’t always like to be at the beach in the “typical” bikini, especially if I’m going on a cloudy day. On chill days like that, I just want to feel comfortable in whatever I’m wearing and not concerned about possibly showing too much skin. On cloudy days in particular, it can get quite cool, so it’s always smart to bring some sort of sweater or cardigan that you can throw on when it gets a little chilly. In the outfit above, I wanted a more modest swimwear look, so I paired a simple crop top with a bikini bottom that had some sort of pattern to add a little flavor. And to keep the look sleek, I added mirrored flat lens sunnies, and paired it with a nude lip. With this look, I’m able to feel cute, sexy and stylish, while remaining covered up.

Today, I also wanted to talk a little bit about some of my favorite brands I’ve been adoring lately: Zero UV and Bare Minerals. When I moved out to San Diego, I was looking up smaller retailers and brands to shop from in the area, and I happened to come across Zero UV just scrolling on Instagram. LET ME TELL YOU… I absolutely LOVE their sunglasses. They are so affordable, and I like that they have such a large variety of sunnies. Literally any style that you can think of, they have it! They also have a lot of color combos and unique styles that I’ve never seen before. On the other hand, I’ve been loving products from Bare Minerals. Normally I stick to cheaper brands like L’oreal Paris (which is my normal go-to brand) because I’m usually on a tight budget, but over the holiday season, I was gifted a lipstick set from Ulta Beauty by Bare Minerals, that had mini Marvelous Moxie lipsticks and I FINALLY got around to using them recently. You can definitely tell that it’s a better quality of lipstick in comparison to those from the drugstore. It goes on smoothly and the colors are very rich. Both of these brands are awesome, and I love that they fit into my personal style.

Unfortunately, most of these items that are apart of my outfit above, I’ve had in my closet for a few years, so I wasn’t able to find the direct link, but I did share with you all some alternatives in place of those items, but at the same retailer.

Thank you for checking out today’s post!

Have a nice day!
