Today’s post is all about being desert chic. I finally had the chance to visit Old Town San Diego and the infamous cactus wall… and it was definitely something I’ve never seen before. It had an old time rustic feel, to the point that you forgot you were in California. It was literally like their own little town within a big city. It’s crazy how far we’ve come from those times, and how advanced the world is today. For the outfit above, I picked out something light and bright. With it being hot in California, it’s always import to wear clothes that deflect the heat instead of absorbing it. I purchased the rose colored top a few months ago from Forever 21, and I hadn’t found anything to go with it, until I searched my closet for my only pair of white jeans. By pairing it with the white jeans, the top was able to stand out on its own, going beautifully with the photoshoot location. It had a desert vibe, yet it was trendy and chic. The top has these little gold ties, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase the A.V. Max cuff bracelet, that I purchased from Rocksbox.
