This was my first time shooting for my blog in La Jolla! I had been there twice before to La Jolla shores and to get some ice cream at UTC mall (btw: they have the cutest little ice cream and candy shop called Sloan’s, it’s definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area). But when I went this time, we shot near La Jolla cove and the iconic La Valencia Hotel! Right across from the hotel was this beautiful light pink wall with white stripes. So I knew that I HAD to shoot one of my looks over there. Now that we are into the summer season, I’ve really been rocking bold sunnies and crop tops lately. But I wanted to dress this look up a bit. Even though it consists of a simple crop top and high-waisted skirt, I added a gold statement necklace and styled my hair in a high bun to make the look more elegant. From there I added the tie up sandals that I LOVE to bring the gold in with something neutral!
